STEM visitors

A huge "Thank you" to the visitors to our class :

Dr Fortune is a physicist who worked in the field of OCT ( Optical Coherence Tomography). She told us about her studies, her work with universities and her role now. We even managed to carry out a few experiments with light beams, looking at the properties.

Mr Richards was an electrician. He shared his knowledge of circuits, conductors, batteries and generators. We generated electricity to make Mario win a race!

Mrs Long told us about her role in Aintree Hospital performing scans.

Mrs Roach is a radiographer who showed us models and xrays - we even scanned someone's tummy!
