Repentance

Today our class visited St Cuthbert's Church to experience the exhibition about slavery. The Church acknowledges that in the past, it had links with the transatlantic slave trade and asks for forgiveness in its role.  The children visited different areas and completed short activities which made them think about forgiveness and hope. Reverend Susan talked to the children about slavery in the past and how it still happens today.
