Art and Design Technology

We love getting creative! 

In Art we will be be creating our own sketchbook of work throughout the school year, showcasing artists we have learned about, techniques and our very own artwork.

We begun the year looking at the toipic of Storytelling through drawing, using our sketch books to draw and use different media linked to our Hisotry topic of Ancient Egypt. We looked at the work of the illustrator Laura Carlin and the graphic artist Shaun Tan in order to gain inspiration for our final piece.

In Design Technology we have been looking at healthy and varied diets. We received an exciting challenge from Mrs Claus and have been testing different soup recipes before designing our own soup for Santa. We hope he likes the receipe we sent him.
